This is a fairly old photo, though it remains one of my favorites. Both Big Daddy and Shadow have passed, but a piece of them remains within my heart -- and shines through this photo.
The original post: This is my hairless rat, Shadow. He thinks he is a pug. He refuses to stay in his cage and loves to run through my apartment with the pugs. He follows me at night like a puppy, and he ADORES black pugs (I don't know why). The pugs are not so thrilled with him, but here he managed to sneak a little nap with the 17 year old "Big Daddy" Bear, who is napping too deeply to know. Shadow does look proud of himself, doesn't he?
