Sleeping Mermaid

OK....I could NOT get my dream mermaid to work. So, I took the whole thing apart and tried again. I painted the frame with a muter black (it's actually chalk board paint!). I softened the coral with a little black. I lightly sprayed the background with some royal blue allowing the black to show through but to be muted somewhat. I added the two corner embellishments and removed the glass (without damaging the frame -- not as easy as it sounds, it turns out). I kinda liked the black better for a background but the blue isn't bad. It's a simple piece...any more and it'd get too busy.
